Kasjuni beach
Kasjuni beach is a pebble sand beach situated on the south side of the mount Marjan, it can be reached by bus or on foot from Split's downtown area. The beach is narrow and rocky, so visitors should take the geology into consideration when packing. On Kasjuni beach there is a coffee bar with public toilets, there is no kiosk on the beach. Bene beach
The Bene beach is situated on the north part of Park Forest Marjan, and it can be reached by bus, With a lot of shade and shallow water with sandy bottom it is suitable both for kids and adults. Next to the beach there is a complex of sports grounds (tennis, badminton, five-a-side football) and a restaurant which has a rich offer of fish and other specialties. The closest parking lot is 15-20 minutes’ walk away.
Kastelet beach
Kastelet beach is situated in the bay before Kasjuni (500 meter closer to centre), this is also a pebble beach, but stones are small so you don’t necessary need any bathing shoes. On the beach there are several coffee bars and a snack bar, with affordable and good sandwiches. Cultural and entertainment life is particularly attractive in the summer season when the squares, streets and shops are crowded with people.
Ovcice beach
In the bay after Bacvice, you find another sand beach warm water and pretty clean, Ovcice beach. It is great beach where you can rent chairs and umbrellas. The water is nice, but as this beach attracts too many revelers, unfortunately there is almost no space to put towels, so here you really have to show up early if you don’t want to end up lying on the stones or have to sit in the coffee bar the whole day
